This past summer, Oosterpark once again buzzed with music, warmth, and summer vibes, as the beloved Oosterpark Picnic Concerts returned! On three delightful Sundays—June 22, July 13, and August 17, 2025—the green heart of Amsterdam Oost was transformed into a lively open-air stage, where everything revolved around relaxed enjoyment.
The Oosterpark Picnic Concerts were the perfect way to celebrate summer with friends, family, or simply on your own. Visitors were carried away by the music, met neighbors, danced on the grass, or leaned back and soaked in the relaxed atmosphere.

It was also a special edition: the 10-jarig jubileum 10th anniversary of the Oosterpark Picnic Concerts. The anniversary was celebrated with beautiful performances and a festive visit from the Alderman for Culture of Amsterdam’s East District. At all the concerts, the weather was wonderful, and a large, attentive audience enjoyed the music.
A highlight was the final Sunday, August 17with the Park Sextet: for the first time in ten years, such a large ensemble performed on the Music Pavilion stage, and the concert was completely sold out!
